USA GP: New Team Upgrades – Full Overview

After the major development steps seen in recent races, the upgrade race in VFC continues ahead of the USA GP. This time, the field is a little quieter than in previous rounds, but seven teams have still activated new upgrade stages. The focus ranges from classic aero improvements to targeted technical upgrades.

Razor GP – one of the most eye-catching packages

Razor GP brings one of the biggest upgrade packages on the grid ahead of the USA GP:

Downforce: 8 → 9
Drag: 7 → 8
Weight: 5 → 7
KERS regen: 0 → 1

With that, Razor is making progress in several key areas at once and is clearly trying to sharpen its overall package even further.

Falcon Simracing – focus on efficiency and cooling

Falcon Simracing is taking two targeted steps:

Drag: 4 → 6
Engine cooling: 1 → 2

The team is improving both aero efficiency and technical security, heading into the USA GP with a clearly focused package.

Blue Horns Racing – fine-tuning the overall package

Blue Horns Racing is also continuing to work on detail improvements:

Diffuser: 2 → 3
KERS battery size: 1 → 2

It is a smaller package, but still an important one, strengthening both the aerodynamic platform and the energy management side of the car.

Arrow Racing – targeted refinement

Arrow Racing makes progress in three areas:

Downforce: 5 → 6
Drag: 5 → 6
Weight: 5 → 6

That keeps Arrow on its chosen development path, improving the package in the most traditional performance categories.

Seawolf – progress in key performance areas

Seawolf NetRace Motorsport also brings a clear performance package:

Downforce: 5 → 6
Drag: 5 → 6
Weight: 5 → 6

The team is strengthening its baseline performance in several important areas and is continuing its development work in a very consistent way.

VEGA – a small but targeted step

VEGA has also made another move ahead of the USA GP:

Engine cooling: 0 → 1

While the package is smaller than those of some rivals, a focused upgrade like this can still become very important over the course of the season.

Spinardi – a broad and intriguing package

Spinardi is also among the teams making a more noticeable step forward before the USA GP:

Downforce: 3 → 5
Drag: 6 → 7
Tire change: 0 → 2
Engine performance: 3 → 4

That gives Spinardi one of the most interesting packages heading into America. In particular, the combination of aero, pit stop speed and engine performance makes this development step especially noteworthy.

Ahead of the USA GP, the VFC upgrade race remains active. Razor GP, Falcon Simracing, Blue Horns Racing, Arrow Racing, Seawolf NetRace Motorsport, VEGA and Spinardi have all activated new upgrade stages, while the rest of the grid remains unchanged. The larger packages from Razor GP and Spinardi stand out in particular, but teams such as Arrow Racing and Seawolf NetRace Motorsport are also continuing to sharpen their overall performance. One thing is clear: at the USA GP, the battle for an advantage will not only be fought on track, but also through the continued development of the cars.
