With five races of the 2025 VFC season now over, it's time to assess the form of each team!
The Rear Midfield
Yellow Arrow Racing

The newcomers from Yellow Arrow Racing are fulfilling their goal for the season early on with points in Kuwait, South Africa, the USA and now, above all, Canada. They are where they thought they would be before the season, but Stefan Cerne in particular is showing significant improvement and was able to set his personal highlight with ninth place.
Simspark Racing

Simspark only had one consistent driver at the start of the season; Benjamin Reinhardt played the role of points scorer and solo entertainer for the British outfit after Junio Lopes withdrew. This fluctuation now seems to have been resolved with Alvin Tran as the second driver, although he still needs to find his pace. But the beginnings are there.
Velvet DC Racing

Velvet is a consistent points-scorer in 2025 with the best start to a season in the team's history, which was crowned with a podium in Canada. The team also scored points throughout the season up until Austin, when Dittmer's engine failure put an end to this streak. However, the season is already a success for the beer-loving Americans.
The Midfield
Valle Esports

After five races, the Italian newcomers are a bit of a surprise bag. Sometimes they are at the front, then suddenly at the back again and lose points due to small careless mistakes. So far they are only in 7th place, but this is likely to change as the season progresses. A lot is expected from Janson Bintz in particular.
Ottimale EM

There should also be a spirit of optimism at Ottimale; in Tim Hauck, they have one of the surprises in the 2025 VFC, as the young German was rather weak in 2023. Hauck's time away from the VFC has allowed him to mature, as he is in 7th place in the World Championship with 24 points and scored all the points for Roy Seifert's team.
SVL Racing

SVL is currently the discovery of the season: Dutchman Sander van Leeuwen joined up with his team late on, but performed well early on and is in sixth place in the drivers' championship as a result. Meanwhile, new team-mate Nilsson is still having problems with the car and hardware, but was able to show off his driving talent in qualifying in Canada.
Blue Horns Racing

After Fabian Szyrzik's departure, it was clear that 2025 would be a year of transition following last season's fantastic performance. With 4th place in the team championship, they are clearly on course to be the best of the rest, but they could move into the top 3 now that Falcon could lose a few points due to Schlüter's departure. However, the Austrians still need to improve their consistency.
The Top 3
Falcon Simracing

There was a lot of excitement at Falcon after Austin: Marc Schlüter won, but was kicked out of the team due to discrepancies in the log and expelled from the league shortly afterwards, making Jan Wiegels the team leader. The German now has to prove that he can keep Falcon in the top 3 despite a drop in form. New team-mate Michael Falkenhain showed signs in Canada that he could establish himself as a good driver.
Optiminal Esport

Light and shade for the Dutch team after five races: While Sven Schubert is battling for the drivers' title, the second cockpit is under a curse: Roy Seifert announced his retirement after three races, replacement driver and now regular driver Heiko Kolvenbach suffered collisions in two races, each of which resulted in no points. As a result, it is difficult to mount an attack on the team championship.
Razor GP

Razor has silenced all critics this year. Both drivers have shown themselves capable of podium finishes and victories so far; Fabian Walter and Bastian Paisler took their first wins of the season and are right up there at the front. If this form can be maintained, it will be impossible for the competition to catch up with the chrome-coloured team. And in the drivers' championship, both drivers are preparing to have their say.
