Reinhardt's first VFC podium

Another international GSO driver showed how calmness and consistency can also lead to success. Benjamin Reinhardt has improved steadily this season, with some difficult or weaker races, but also some great successes. The Hungarian was able to celebrate his biggest success in Belgium, partly due to Bintz's dismissal. Simspark was extremely pleased with the first podium finish, which Reinhardt secured for the British team led by James Hayter. In addition to Bintz, Reinhardt has been a very positive surprise this season and was able to reinforce
Velvet retires with immediate effect

Velvet, led by Christian Dittmer, announced that they would be leaving the VFC immediately. The main reason given was the problems with rFactor 2, whose age and lack of support from the developers are now becoming apparent. Many circumstances led to this decision, including the problems with rF2 and a number of other issues that took place behind the scenes.
Strife at Blue Horns

Another source of unrest developed at Blue Horns during the Belgian week.
Team boss Jörn Dicks and driver Juho Sopanen apparently had a falling out behind the scenes, which led to Sopanen quitting and leaving the Austrian racing team. Dicks expressed his disappointment, and Sopanen stated that he had been unable to get along with Dicks for some time. Team boss Jörn Dicks and driver Juho Sopanen apparently had a falling out behind the scenes, which led to Sopanen quitting and leaving the Austrian racing team. Dicks was disappointed and angry about the turn of events and about Sopanen, as the German had actually hoped for a lot of good things from the Finn. What exactly happened was not disclosed. Rumour has it that Sopanen decided to focus on the GPVWC after the Finn had actually agreed to focus on the VFC. Dicks is said to have felt betrayed by this and confronted Sopanen with the decision, which the Finn took badly and therefore quit. Dicks has since found a replacement and signed super sub Tim Brendel for the rest of the season.
Boredom in Belgium

Apart from the first few laps, the duel and the subsequent elimination of Bastian Paisler by Janson Bintz, not much happened at this year's Belgian Grand Prix. The race seemed more like a procession, with few or no major duels or excitement. As in reality, the Spa-Francorchamps circuit simply does not seem to produce great races anymore. Whether Spa should still have a place on the VFC calendar is perhaps open to question. On the other hand, the circuit is a true tradition in its purest form. It remains to be seen how the VFC league management will decide on this matter.
