Tim Hauck will leave Ottimale EM at the end of the season! The decision was made by Hauck himself. After his time with Ottimale EM, the German driver wants to take on a new challenge and make the next step in his VFC career.

For Ottimale EM, this decision means far more than just an open cockpit for the upcoming season. Hauck’s departure is a painful loss for the team, which is not only losing a driver, but also an important part of its current season. His work on track, his commitment behind the scenes, and his role within the team have all helped shape Ottimale EM’s campaign.

Team principal Roy Seifert also found clear words on Hauck’s upcoming departure:

“Of course, it is very unfortunate that Tim has decided to leave. Nevertheless, I would like to thank him for two incredible seasons! I think we can all be very proud of how Tim has developed within our team, and I will continue to follow his next steps. Now it is about finishing the final races cleanly and getting the maximum out of them. The door will always be open for him.”

Ottimale EM will now begin the search for a successor who fits not only the sporting requirements of the cockpit, but also the team’s internal structure on a personal level. One thing is clear: Hauck’s decision adds fresh movement to the driver market — and is likely to create plenty of discussion in the coming weeks.
