First tests for the 2026 VFC season successfully completed!

Preparations for the 2026 VFC season are already in full swing. The first official test drives took place in recent days, with the focus on two major innovations in particular: the completely redesigned vehicle and the brand-new V6 turbo engines.

The teams made intensive use of the sessions to understand the aerodynamics of the new 2026 cars. The revised chassis, sharper lines and modernised aerodynamic concept require a great deal of fine-tuning by the engineers and drivers. At the same time, the new 950 hp V6 turbo engines with their modified performance and consumption characteristics provided plenty of data on the telemetry screens.

The season is approaching, and one thing is already certain: 2026 will be fast, technically demanding and the most modern era of the VFC to date.
