San Marino GP: New Team Upgrades – Full Overview

After the development steps seen in recent races, things are a little quieter ahead of the San Marino GP. While most of the grid remains unchanged, Blue Horns Racing and Seawolf NetRace Motorsport have both activated new upgrades. The focus is clearly on improving overall performance.

Blue Horns Racing – targeted refinement

Blue Horns Racing brings a compact but effective package to San Marino:

  • Downforce: 6 → 7

  • Engine performance: 1 → 2

That means Blue Horns is improving both its aerodynamic baseline and its engine output. It is not a huge all-round package, but it is a targeted step aimed at sharpening the overall car.

Seawolf – the biggest package of the weekend

The much larger upgrade package comes from Seawolf NetRace Motorsport. The team is making progress in several important areas at once:

  • Downforce: 6 → 7

  • Drag: 6 → 7

  • Weight: 6 → 8

  • Internal components: 0 → 2

  • Diffuser: 4 → 5

That gives Seawolf by far the biggest package ahead of the San Marino GP. The team is investing in classic aero performance, weight reduction and its technical foundation, making a strong statement in the development race.

Ahead of the San Marino GP, the overall picture across the field is relatively calm, but Blue Horns Racing and especially Seawolf NetRace Motorsport are taking the opportunity to make another development step. While Blue Horns is focusing on two key areas, Seawolf is sending a much stronger signal with a broader package. It is another reminder that even when the grid is not bringing major upgrades across the board, development remains a crucial factor in VFC 2026.
